Why do Atheists literally fabricate fallacies about Christianity?

I'm not sure why Atheists feel that they have to try to ruin the joy and happiness that we have discovered in the Lord. But, in opposition to some of the comments made here, I would like to say that I have read the entire Bible, I know what it says, and I know for sure that God does NOT condemn sexual intercourse in anyway. He says that sex outside of marriage should be avoided and that if sexual intercourse is getting in the way of worshipping the Lord or loving others, then that is a problem. However, sex in itself is not sinful within marriage.

I'm a groom and I'm getting married in a couple of weeks. My fiancee has picked most of the stuff but I played a very active role in deciding the venue and the menu. I don't care about her dress, the bridesmaids dresses, flowers, centerpieces etc. I do care about my friends having a good time and having good food. We have a high end wedding planner so he really just gives her the options and she picks something and then tells me about it. If I don't agree, she picks something else. And so on. I'll be moving to Austin in September. I've visited there a few times after getting out of college here in Boston. I did some traveling to decide which would be the best place to settle in. There were only a handful of states I didn't go to. For some reason, and I don't know why, but a lot of places I went to, women (and I'm 23) in too many of these places just had very little idea of what class is. Too many places seem to be overrun with females dressing skimpy, talking like they don't have a clue (the word "like" every third word), and very little concept of culture-other than trashy pop culture. The whole Stepford cloning of those big sunglasses, furry boots, and mindless drivel was pretty common. But somehow, and I'm not sure why, but women in Austin (in my age group) were NOTHING like this! They seem to have a solid concept of class! Of course, they're the best looking women I'm sure I'll ever see (the blondes and brunettes down there literally put me in a state of shock!), but I noticed many things other than that. The places they frequented and things they did for example. The Warehouse District was FULL of (as was Town Lake) classy twentysomething, highly educated women who were secure in themselves, not literally walking around with a LOOK AT ME! sign painted on their foreheads. It was as if they were secure in themselves. I enjoyed many topics of conversation with a few educated beauties there, mostly at outdoor restaurants and a few bistros (of which are numerous). Church may play a part in it, as almost all I met were Christians, and maybe UT plays a part as well. They loved working out I noticed, and talking about the arts was big as well. They weren't into this whole conformity cloned thing (big sunglasses, furry boots, dressed scantily) AT ALL! I don't know how you do it, but I've never met more classy, educated females anywhere I've been, and trust me, it's not even close! How diverse they are was SHOCKING! I honestly would never have suspected that. Another thing that was readily apparent is how open minded women there are, that stood out right away! Most places now, so many women are snobby, or plain rude. But there, the women were very friendly to anyone, and extremely open minded. So how do you do it? How do you manage to not fall into these traps that have become like a plague in too many places? To be so open minded, have class, and be so educated, whereas most seem to have forgotten that? Keep it up!

Okay so we recently moved into my grandmas house(she died in 2006, other people moved in but then moved out so we bought it) and a lot of creepy crap is happening. I have been a skeptic all my life and i have never believed in ghosts until now. Whenever i would watch a monster or ghost movie i would get bored because i knew it was fake(this started when i was 8).I'm 15 now and thinking completely different about the paranormal. From the second i walked in i felt like i was being watched, at first i brushed it off that all those restless nights packing had gone to my head. All the time though the feeling surrounds me. Sometimes its so intense i feel like i'm going to vomit. I see things out of the corner of my eye, like shadows or things in the mirror. Sometimes i will lose things and find then days later in a completely different place. I hears footsteps outside my door and voices as well. My dog, who has never done this before, stares at my bedroom wall when there is nothing there, he growls sometimes to. My cat refuses to come inside my house and has become an outdoor cat. I read something online that said to get a digital recorder and ask questions, so i went out and purchased one and did so. I got nothing so i turned it on and left the room. My mom and sister were out shopping and my dad was outside with a friend so i thought it was a perfect time to get evidence. I thought i wouldn't get anything, but when i reviewed the recording the was this weird humming, and towards the end this loud growl. It really scared me and made me question my own sanity. I'm currently trying to get it on my computer. My dad says he had nothing happen to him but that his sisters and his mom said the house was haunted but i thought he was just messing with me. But now i think different. I feel like asking his sisters about they're experiences but i don't want them to think i'm crazy. I think i should go to the library and search the history about the area and the house. My dad hasn't had anything happen to him, but my mom has. She said she sees shadows of people outside the window, and sometimes her door will fling open. The door is a heavy wooden door that's hard to open as is, so wind in not a way to debunk it. My sister who is 7 refuses sleep alone. She says there are people in her room. Really i want to know what to do, i can barely stand this stuff any longer! It makes me terrified to sleep in my own bed or be in my own room!

My dog is scared of rain/storms?

I've had my dog, Jake, for about a year now. He is a year old and about 25-30 pounds. He is a Yellow Lab/Bloodhound mix. He can be quite aggressive but can be like a teddy bear when he wants to be. Do you have experience with baby red eared sliders in outdoor ponds?

We have 2 baby RES's. About an inch or so long. We have had them for 3 days, and put them in our 500 gal. outdoor pond. They really haven't eaten that much at all. We take them out twice a day to feed them in a rubbermaid container. The only reason we take them out is 1. to see if they are actually eating, and 2. if we just place the food in the water, my goldfish eat it. We offered them commercial turtle food, as well as bits of squash and carrots, and a half dead minnow. We have only seen them take a nip from the commercial food. They weren't even interested in the fish. I'm wondering if we should even continue to take them out or just put the food in the water and hope they are getting something. The reason I wonder this is because I'm wondering if it's stressful for them for us to catch them and remove them from the pond. One of them stays in the water all the time. The other one climbs out on a big rock we have provided for them. I am worried that at least the one is not getting the basking time it needs, and if we should put them in the container with a basking light. Wondering if that might help the eating. I don't know. So obviously, any and all suggestions are more than welcome as we learn how to take care of these little ones.

Help! My Dwarf Meyer Lemon Tree is Losing Tons of Leaves?

I've had my 2-3 year old Dwarf Meyer Lemon tree since winter, and generally have had no problems. There was a brief incident with scale, but that is now under control. The tree has blossomed and now is starting to produce lemons. But about two weeks ago, it started losing leaves like crazy. There are several lemons-to-be on the tree, two about the size of nickels and they seem okay, although some tinier ones have fallen off. There is no apparent cause for the sudden balding. Any ideas? I live in Oregon. Through the cold/rainy season I keep the tree indoors with a special light to make the tree think he is in sunny southern California. I moved him outside earlier this week in an attempt to stop the loss of leaves. So far it seems to be helping. Today I lost only 2 leaves, whereas indoors he was losing around 6 a day. Maybe he just needed some humid outdoor air? I have the tree potted in a soil recommended by my local garden center, mixed with a bit of the shavings that the tree was mailed to me in, as the potting instructions suggested. I don't know how the soil could be the cause of this issue though, since the tree has been in the same mix since November and has done well up until now. Any ideas of what could be causing the loss of leaves? Or suggestions on how to make it stop? Thank you!

So, we leave Texas, me and "Sarah" knew we were already going to the same place and that it would only be a short while until we could hang out again. So, I got here, we got back in touch. Okay so I run all year round, (cross country, indoor track and outdoor track.) I take 2 weeks off after cross country and after indoor track. Someone stole my cat and I can't stop crying?

Help with buying air conditioning units?

We are looking to buy a new air conditioning unit, with everything included. We want the outdoor unit, and the coil, and whatever else comes for the inside as well. Why can't I hold my Leopard Gecko when it's young?

I've recently adopted or bought a leopard gecko from Petsmart. We were told that we couldn't hold the gecko right away, and bond with it. She also told us that you should start holding them and petting them when they're about 8 inches. Do reptiles really bond differently? Cat pulling out her fur?

Ok, so a female tuxedo cat who lives in Mesa, AZ, indoor/outdoor cat, and lives with 2 other female tuxedo cats, all indoor/outdoor. None of the other cats have any issues, and all are healthy and happy as could be. However, our dominant female, who is part Siamese, is pulling out the fur on her lower back. it is getting progressively worse. whenever she grooms herself, we find small clumps of fur strewn across the house. We treat her regularly for worms, since she is partly outdoors. None of the other cats have flees, so we know that is not what it is, and she has also had progressive weight loss. she is not due for her examination for several months, so I was wondering if anybody knew what is is that is bothering her, and if I can buy it over the counter? she has no obvious ailments besides thin fur on her back end, and inching up her torso. health ears, healthy gums, healthy eyes, healthy eating, pooling, and temper. any suggestions?

So my baby (cat) is normal indoor outdoor cat. He does both. Right as I am typei g this it is 12:31 and he usually comes in at 11:30. He is still outside and I can't find the baby. Well today he had a bad day... He got into a cat fight and lost it had a high piched squeal and his fur was everywhere I checked to make sure he was ok.... Also he had a mood swing one second he is purring on my lap the next he is scratching and biting my hand!! I am 13 years old, 5'5 and I weight 129lbs. I have a huge butt.... Like a Kim Kardashian butt, and my upper stomach is skinny, but my lower stomach (from my belly button till my hips) my stomach goes out, like fat. So how can I loose weight in my lower stomach and butt? I am really athletic and active with sports and outdoor activities in the summer, and I also eat lots of fruits and vegetables, I just don't seem to be loosing any weight. Ugh. I am so mad at my mother! I have 2 cats male and female and a year ago they became outdoor cats because they peed all over our house. Why do I get these bad headaches?

Okay so I run all year round, (cross country, indoor track and outdoor track.) I take 2 weeks off after cross country and after indoor track. I also take 1 month of after outdoor track before I start my summer training for cross country. Help?! Cats and Kittens?

I rescued a cat 2 years ago. He became my sister's cat but she's going to college so he's mine again. I rescued another male stray cat also about half a year ago. I rescued 2 more male kittens 2 weeks ago. Now my friend's outdoor cat had 4 babies and her dog ate one of them so she asked if I could "rescue" her cat and it's 3 remaining babies. Her parents won't let her bring the cat inside. It's also very rainy and we are afraid the babies and mom will get sick. I can't take them because we can hardly afford the cats and one dog I have now. None of my friends can take any more cats because most of them already have at least 2 or 3 because they adopt the cats I rescue. Nobody could take the 2 white ones so I kept them. After them my mom said if I sneak the pregnant cat into the house she'll get rid of the kittens and my precious rescue cat Shadow. I don't see why she loves my sister's overweight cat so much. Anyways, how am i going to help provide shelter for the cat and kittens? Maybe I could tell my mom I need them for further veterinary studies? I could pay for all of their expenses because I sell my artwork online and do multiple various tasks for neighbors and friends. I'm painting much more artwork now too because I have to pay for my 2 kittens to be neutered and etc because my mom said if she payed for them she would de-claw them like she de-clawed my sister's cat. I also promised my best friend that once she got a cat (one of the other cat's 3 babies) that I would help her pay for all expenses because she is poor and her mom wants it to not visit the vet or get fixed and she wants it to live off people food because she doesn't want to spend much money on it. I love cats too much to let that happen so I promised that I'd sell her artwork also and we'd use our artwork money to pay for it's food and vet expenses. Right now I just can't figure out how to shelter the cat with the babies, We do not want her dog to eat any more and we don't want them to die or anything. The only reason I couldn't sneak them into my house or whatever is because I don't know if they have feline leukemia or AIDs or worms or anything that my cats could catch and would be very expensive to treat or non-treatable at all. :( What can I do? Nobody can take her I have already asked everyone I know. Help?

If you feel he is overheating make sure you have an appropriate spot of shade at all hours to protect him from the sun, also make sure its not closed in so if its windy he can have a breeze. If he enjoys water I would buy a small plastic kiddie pool and fill it, he can climb in if he gets really hot and relax.

hey. i have had an eletric guitar -fender strat- since i was 13. ive goofed off with it every now & again but never really sat down & took the time to learn how to really play. now i am serious about learning how to play guitar. how hard is it to really learn? i was watching the cd that came with my friends acoustic guitar trying to learn the notes & chords and i was looking in the booklet that came with the guitar as well at chords & notes & i just got so frustrated & put it back up because i was completely horrible & couldn't remember any of it as soon as i went to the next thing. what is the best way to learn the guitar & what is the fastest most effective way? i think guitar is beautiful & i really love listenin to people play, id love to be able to play a beautiful song on it but i just feel like its too hard for me to get down. any advice will be greatly appreciated. thank you guys!
