Outdoor turtle habitat?

I was wanting to build an outdoor habitat for my two turtles. Well I have 1 box turtle and 1 Russian Tortoise. So how big does it need to be? Is 5ft X 5ft ok or too small. Any suggestions as well would be helpful.
