Doesnt he like me? Why did he run off?

Okay so im 16 in college & i heard u can date tutors & not get into trouble & my tutor is soooooooooo sexy hes 25 & his body is like a greek god seriously. I like him alot but im not sure if he likes me anymore, when i look at him its like prolonged eye contact & he always smiles cheekily, anyways we wer sitting down & he sat next to me cause i needed help we were talkin & i was flirtin sayin like u have perfect teeth & do u work out & stuff and he put his hand on my thigh i was like omgomgomgomg in my head lol then he looked at me & i ***** stop smilin then anotha tutor came in & he zoomed off real fast. Then after class i stayed in my seat until everyone left & i sed could u help me on a few questions he came over sat realll close so our legs wer like touchin & i looked at him i wasnt listenin to what he was saying i wanted to kiss him so bad & he looked up & he leant forward & kissed me n omgggg i felt like i was gonna explode with happiness but then all of a sudden he pulled away & i was like dont u like me ? & he sed i wont be able to control myself & left the room :((( i was just sitting there like omg what happened, do u think i scared him off or somthin :S what do i do now i dont wanna go class tuesday why did he run away :(?????
