Is the human fetus, a parasite?

A fetus is not, per se, a parasite in that the test of a living being is if it reproduces - to make us living creatures we need to pass this test and we benefit from the relationship with our offspring as our genetics get to carry on if we are good parents. So, while a fetus can be considered a parasite if the female does not want said fetus, especially if the fetus was forced upon her, but ultimately for most women this is not the correct manner of considering the relationship.
