Host family gifts: Maine, USA to Germany?

Next year I'm going to be living in Germany as a part of the Congress Bundestag Youth Exchange program. I found out my host family fairly recently, and I have been trying to come up with ideas for gifts to bring. The last time I went to Germany, I brought maple syrup and maple candy, but that wasn't too popular, so I'm looking for other ideas. My family consists of a mom, a dad, a 12 year old sister, and a 7 year old brother. Their into sports, skiing, and outdoor activities. Any ideas would be really appreciated!
